Kendal Mintcake

When James Wilson started producing Kendal Mintcake in the New Inn Yard, Kendal in 1913, he could never have imagined that, over 90 years later, many millions of bars would be sold and enjoyed by people all over the world.

The same method of hand production that was first used in 1931 is still used today. Kendal Mintcake is made with sugar, glucose syrup, oil of peppermint and salt. Only the finest ingredients are used and are boiled slowly in open copper pans.

    Hi, would you be able to have battenburg cakes in your shop?
    Or maybe tell me where I could get some in Canada? I don't mind if i have to order online but I live in Toronto, so the closer the easier.

    Battenberg cakes will be available in both Blighty's stores late next week. These are locally made cakes but they are very well made and quite delicious.
